Shield Row Primary School

Shield Row Primary School is a very special place.

We pride ourselves on offering a warm, nurturing setting in which children feel happy and secure and build a positive self-image.

A happy pupil is a successful one, which is why our team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff all work towards the same goal: that children enjoy learning!

We plan exciting opportunities and experiences that really help to ‘bring learning alive’. We also provide the right level of challenge so that every child reaches their full potential.

The way children learn and do at primary school will stay with them for the rest of their lives, which is why we have high expectations of our pupils and of ourselves. We are rightly proud of our achievements and dedicated to continued success.
